Hours before she was scheduled to check-in to a New York City hospital, the 51-year-old anchor tweeted several fun-loving pictures with Good Morning America host Josh Elliott, ABC's senior executive producer Tom Cibrowski, and senior vice president of ABC News James Goldston.
She captioned one picture, writing: 'Shhhhhh...don't tell my doctors I'm up late w/ @GMA fam before I go to hospital in the AM.'

Then earlier this morning, Ms Roberts added via Twitter: 'If @JoshElliottABC looks a bit tired this morning...totally worth it to me..thanks for the send off!'
The award-winning broadcaster postponed her scheduled bone marrow transplant following the news of her mother's death last Thursday, but sent her a last moving message from hospital this morning.
'My last tweet for awhile. Heading to hospital...time to focus on healing. I take each & every one of you w/me in my heart. Light and love.'

She tweeted last week, after saying goodbye her mother: 'Back home in NYC. Will rest a few days. Doctors orders to put on a lil weight... that's a first. Transplant now sched for next week. Onward.'

However following her mother's death the TV anchor wrote on the GMA website: 'Today I was supposed to be admitted to the hospital...instead I am here in Mississippi standing proudly with my family as we honor our beloved mother and celebrate her life.
'When I return to NYC and walk through those hospital doors next week momma will be right there with me.'
Lucimarian Roberts, a leader on Mississippi's Gulf Coast for more than 40 years, died on Thursday August 30 at her home in Pass Christian aged 88, the family has not revealed the cause of death.
Robin made a frantic dash to be by her mother's side before she passed away, taking her leave from GMA a day early.
She has vowed to return to her Good Morning America hosting duties following her treatment and bid a temporary farewell to viewers on the ABC morning show last week.
Presenters such as Diane Sawyer, Oprah Winfrey, Barbra Walters and Katie Couric will fill in for Ms Roberts while she is away.
