One Way Or Another he'll try and impress Taylor: Harry Styles hits the Brits stage with One Direction in full view of Swift

t was bound to be one of the big talking points of the 2013 Brit Awards with Harry Styles being in the same room as ex-girlfriend Taylor Swift.

But the One Direction star took it all in his stride at the bash at London's O2 on Wednesday night.
Styles took to the stage with his bandmates to sing his heart out to their hit track One Way Or Another (Teenage Kicks).

The single,which is number one in an astonishing 53 countries and is the official Comic Relief track, wowed the crowds as they gave an energetic performance.

 

But Taylor, of course, ensured she got her own back by putting on an even bigger more raunchier performance for poor Harry's viewing pleasure - or not as the case may be.
The country starlet first of all raised eyebrows as she arrived on stage wearing an outfit reminiscent of a wedding dress.

She strutted around with her dancers before ripping off the white frock to unveil a tiny black playsuit underneath.
Taylor, 23, seemed to be trying hard to show off her figure in front of Harry as she writhed around in her minuscule get-up.
She flung her hair back and forth as she belted out I Knew You Were Trouble to the packed out arena.

But they weren't the only ones to wow the crowds.
He spent years lost in the pop wilderness, but on Wednesday night Robbie Williams was back to his best.
The Take That singer put on a classic Robbie sequence as he took to the stage with his band and a troupe of horn players ahead of One Direction's showdown.
Wearing a blue trouser suit, the 39-year-old jumped around on stage as he performed his No.1 hit Candy.

Robbie was the second artist to perform at the star-studded ceremony at London's O2 Arena, following Muse's rocky opening.
The British rockers performed their track Supremacy.
The father-of-one is up for Best British Single at the bash.

Brit Awards host James Corden admitted before Robbie's performance he had high hopes.
He said: 'Yeah, he's doing a really great opening. I haven't seen it but I've been told it is and it sounds brilliant.
'All I know is it sounds great and I can't wait to see how it works.'

Justin Timberlake meanwhile took to the stage later and emerged from a red box in the middle of the arena at the 02 and looked dapper in a shiny tuxedo suit jacket and a bow tie.
As he launched into his new track Mirrors he walked down a runway to the stage and carrying his microphone.
He was joined by backing singers dressed in matching tuxedos and as he performed his track her ad-libbed the lyrics to sing ‘London’s staring back at me’.
