Taking Manhattan! Model Jessica Hart works preppy pastel fashion during New York Fashion Week

She may have been dining downtown, but Jessica Hart's preppy style was straight out of the Upper East side.
The Australian model worked pastel colours into her daytime look, wearing a large pink jumper over a white buttoned up shirt with a ribbed beanie scooping up her blonde hair.
The oversized top accentuated her slim legs in wrapped in leather, with a pair of towering burgundy platforms to complete theüber-cool off duty look.

This modern interpretation of the all-American is typical of the model who has featured in campaigns for U.S retailers Gap, Target and Century 21.
Not that the 26-year old is a stranger to high fashion, walking in shows for PPQ, Louise Gray, Sass & Bide, Christopher Kane, David Koma and Giles Deacon.
But the shirt, jumper and skinny jeans combo is very much a signature look for Jessica, who wore a similar outfit to the BCBG MAX AZRIA Autumn/Winter 2013 show.

Sitting front row at the New York fashion week show, the model sat next to Sami Gayle, Krysta Rodriguez and Julie Henderson, this time with her long blonde hair on full show.
A busy time for Jessica, and the rest of the fashion world, she took time out between runways to grab a bite to eat at Bar Pitti.

The restaurant in West Village near Bleecker street offers a Tuscan menu, and the model is obviously getting her fill of New York's finest after returning from a fashion campaign shot in Mexico.
Jessica has previously starred in two campaigns for ONLY, in the urban landscapes of Copenhagen and New York but to capture the essence of summer, warmer climes and palm tree-lined beaches were called for to reflect the brand's spring/summer collection.
The gap-toothed  Aussie is also the current cover star for her homeland's version of Maxim magazine, in which she talks about her route into fashion.
'I won the Dolly modeling competition in 2000. My auntie took me to a shopping centre and entered me. She always wanted to take pictures of me and I wouldn't let her,' explained Hart.
Luckily for the fashion world, Jessica overcame her aversion to photos, and is now one of the industries favourite faces, gap-tooth and all.
