She is known for her risque behaviour and rebellious antics.
And it appears that even on Mother's Day Rihanna still couldn't be tamed.
The 24-year-old singer took her mother Monica Braithwaite out to lunch in Manhattan today wearing a bandeau bikini top.

While the top was on the wild side, the You Da One singer managed to tone it down a touch by pairing the attire with a more conservative pair of billowing black trousers and a flowing white jacket.
She rounded out the monochrome outfit with a pair of strappy heels.

The singer, who already has an array of inkings adorning her body, couldn't help but stop into a tattoo parlour on the way to her family meal.
However, she did manage to make a more conventional trip on her travels, picking up some pretty pink flowers for her mother along the way.
Throughout the evening Rihanna tweeted several pictures, including a snap of her mother tucking into a cake and of the pair cuddling up.
'Who else cudda make all dis lol,' she wrote in an accompanying caption.

The singer was also quick to point out that she was a mother too, tweeting a picture of her pet pooch with the words: 'I had mothers day too.'
Rihanna and her mother are extremely close, and Monica often accompanies her daughter to big red-carpet events.
She was recently by her daughter's side when she was named one of the 100 most influential people in the world at the Time 100 Gala in April.

A cringing Rihanna told fans of her embarrassment by tweeting about the goings-on at the party: 'Well....2nt consisted of us singing Bob Marley, drinkin Vintage Scotch, and my mom thinkin a joke abt Kutcher was appropriate! #Thxtime100' (sic).
Her daughter being named as in company with some of the world's finest, including Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton and the Duchess of Cambridge, didn't stop Monica from poking fun at her bedroom business.
